GPS Speedometer Digital Meter
This Privacy Policy explains how GPS Speedometer Digital Meter ("the App") accesses, uses and shares information. The App is a GPS-based speed display with digital and analog meters.
1. Location and GPS Speed
The App requests location permission while you are using it to estimate and display your current movement speed. The App uses location information on your device for this purpose. It does not offer route recording, trip-history accounts or background location tracking, and the developer has not implemented a server for uploading your GPS routes.
You can control location access in Android Settings. Without location permission or a usable GPS signal, speed readings may not be available.
2. Preferences Stored on Your Device
The App saves settings such as speed units, travel mode, meter style, colors, brightness and screen-awake preferences locally on your device. Depending on your Android backup settings, eligible local preferences may be included in a device backup.
3. Advertising and Third-Party Data
The App uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect or process information such as:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location;
- Advertising ID, App Set ID and other device identifiers;
- App interactions such as ad views, taps and app launches; and
- Device, app-performance and diagnostic information.
These data may be used for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, security and compliance according to Google's applicable policies. This advertising-related processing is separate from the App's on-device GPS speed calculation.

4. Accounts and Support Messages
The App does not require account creation or login. If you email the developer for support, the developer receives the email address and information you choose to include, and uses it to respond to your request.
5. Data Sharing
The developer does not operate a service for sharing your GPS travel routes with other users. Advertising-related information may be processed by Google and its advertising partners as described above. The App does not include a feature for users to send their current precise location to other users.
6. Retention and Deletion
The App does not maintain a developer-operated database of speed readings or travel history. You can clear locally stored app data in Android Settings or uninstall the App, subject to any device backups.
For support emails held by the developer, you may request deletion by contacting [email protected]. Requests will be handled subject to applicable legal and operational retention requirements. Information processed by Google or other advertising providers is subject to their own retention and deletion practices.
7. Your Choices
- Grant, deny or revoke location permission in Android Settings.
- Manage advertising settings and identifiers in your device settings or at My Ad Center.
- Contact the developer with questions about information under the developer's control.
Where required, additional advertising consent or privacy options should be made available through the App's implemented consent flow.
8. Security
The App aims to limit direct data access to what is needed for its functions. Google Mobile Ads documents encryption of data in transit. No electronic service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is a general-purpose speedometer utility and is not specifically designed for young children. The App does not create user profiles or offer accounts. Advertising and age-related requirements are handled according to applicable platform policies and the App's actual configuration.
10. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the App's features, SDKs or data practices change. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
